Chino, California: Ahmadiyya Muslim Missionary Condemns Temple Shootings of Sikhs

The Holy Quran condemns these acts of hatred as well.  In Chapter 5 verse 33 it states: “Whosoever killed a person….it shall be as if he had killed all mankind: and whoso saved a life, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, which is the oldest Muslim organization in America- strongly, condemns the senseless and murderous shooting of the innocent worshippers at the Sikh Temple of Oak Creek, Wisconsin near Milwaukee.

This very sad and deeply regretted incidence, said the community, brings to mind the great necessity of one key factor- the promotion of peace and well being from worshippers of all religious backgrounds.

“This incident cannot be argued or portrayed in any sort of way to say that this was nothing short of a hate crime,” the community further stated in their press release.  “It causes such grievance that people, what they believe and how they choose to express their beliefs in a peaceful manner should have such an abhorrent effect on the minds of some short-sighted people to carry out such murders in the name of “ridding the world of the less deserving”.”

“How can such an idea come to the mind?

“This action depicts the deep void of the lack of humanity that hatred has caused.  Worshippers of any religion, no matter who they are, must tie their knot of compassion and love with other members of the community.  We must focus on the great qualities of every person and form our opinions on them; this is the only way to establish the peace of the interfaith.

“We are deeply grieved by this senseless act of violence against our Sikh brothers,” states Shamshad Nasir, Missionary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community chapter in Chino, California, in an interview.

“We must strive to overcome these acts of hate and focus our attention on building a broader mind and developing our relationship with others of different ideologies and backgrounds.  This is how peace and understanding for others will be established.  The Holy Quran condemns these acts of hatred as well.  In Chapter 5 verse 33 it states: “Whosoever killed a person….it shall be as if he had killed all mankind: and whoso saved a life, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind.  This beautiful teaching of the Holy Quran underlines the value of human life and just how grievous of a sin it is to bring death upon another fellow human being.  This brings to light that all acts of terrorism, no matter in whose name they believe they are doing it in, are absolutely forbidden in Islam and these acts of terrorism are, as if we are bringing death to the entire human race.  At this time, the Sikh Community is in critical need of the support of the rest of the community, and we are one hundred percent there for them.”
