USA: Religious Founders Day event held at Chino mosque


Examples of how to respect other religions were also given from the sayings of Muhammad and the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community’s Baitul Hameed.

CHINO – The Ahmadiyya Muslim community hosted an interfaith forum on Saturday in observance of Religious Founders Day.

The two-hour annual forum included leaders from local churches speaking about their faiths at the Baitul Hameed Mosque.

“This is an international day to bring people on one platform and to give respect to other faiths,” said Imam Shamshad Nasir of Baitul Hameed Mosque.

Opening remarks were made by Nasir along with an explanation of what the Quran says about respecting other faiths.

Examples of how to respect other religions were also given from the sayings of Muhammad and the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community’s Baitul Hameed.

Representatives of a wide variety of other faiths also spoke.
