BERINGEN-The Ahmadiyya Muslim women of Beringen offer a great surprise.

On the Migrants Day,Tuesday, December 18th, they want to show the local population that they are grateful that they can and do live here by offering symbolic gifts of decorated Christmas ornaments to the visitors at the Municipal Administrative Centre (SAC).

The message they want to give is that it is not only the rights they are after, but also want to be mindful of their obligations – to be respect of the host country.

In the entrance hall there is an information booth about the UN Convention of December 18, 1990 about the protection of migrants and their families and on the functioning of the local women groups.
